Online Poker Cheats

Online Poker Offenders have been an ever growing threat, especially in recent time with everyone looking to make a ‘Fast Buck or Two’. Not to worry Players!! As threats keep evolving so too does the capacity of the online poker industry to tackle such online poker cheats. The constant fear that revolves around online transaction is wiped out not only by cutting edge security systems but also by highly  qualified backend security personnel. Online poker cheating does occur and may exist in two forms active cheating and passive cheating.

online-poker-cheatsActive online poker cheats work just like they do in real life, where poker players work in teams to raise other players out of the pot or juice the pot for each other. This play manages to maximize value bets. Online collusion is the other extreme, something which I would term as passive cheating. This is when players share their cards with one another to help them make better choices when it comes to odds. It is much harder to catch.

Online Hacking just cannot happen, at least not from the outside. Why? Well any online poker company employs 128bit encryption. Such as digital certificates from companies like THAWTE. The value of these certificates is that the client side program connects on a secure level to their server - therefore it is encrypted on your computer and decrypted on the server side. Making it nearly impossible to hack. Other techniques utilized by online poker cheats include Phishing, Collusion, Poker Bots and using online poker cheat software.

Phishing attacks use 'spoofed' e-mails and fraudulent websites designed to fool recipients into divulging personal financial data such as credit card numbers, account usernames and passwords, social security numbers, etc. All of which is valuable information about you which is like a gold mine for online poker cheats.

poker-collusion Online poker collusion is when two or more players at a table work together to defraud one or more other players at the table by sharing information. It could be as simple as two guys using IM to warn each other when they have a big hand. More intricate collusion methods include employing specific strategies to get other players to put more money in the pot. The standard method is the squeeze play.

A poker bot is a sophisticated card playing robot created using a computer program that gives its controller an unfair mathematical advantage during an online poker game. If you are a poker novice and would like to know more about the common myths associated with online poker cheats you could check out this article on common myths about gambling. The bottom line is that it is just a matter of time before a players resort to unfair means of play. It is upto the respective poker card rooms to ‘nip it in the bud’ and bring these so called online poker cheats to light.

World Poker Tour

world-poker-tourThe World Poker Tour (WPT) is a series of international poker tournaments featuring most of the world's professional players. It was started in the United States. In 2008, the WPT started offering bracelets to its event champions. Players, who won a title prior to the release of the bracelet, were given one. World Poker Tour has also found its way on television. The WPT is well known for its televised WPT final table winner toast.

It is now in its sixth season of broadcast, it still remains among one of the highest rated television programs on television (cable).  At the beginning of the 2008 World Poker Tour Season the host Mike Sexton no longer toasts the winner of the Tournament with an "official beer of the World Poker Tour" (sponsored in years past by Anheuser-Busch). They now provide champagne glasses for their salute. This makes telling the latest events much easier from the older when they are televised.

On the note of hosts the show’s hosts Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten give the impression to viewers that all of their commentary is recorded live as the tournament happens. They have gone as far as occasionally interacting with the players during the game. However, their comments about hole cards are recorded after the tournament takes place because gaming regulations prohibit them from observing a live feed of the "hole card cameras" while on the set. Consequently, the broadcast audio is a mix of the live recording, and commentary recorded in post-production.

The WPT is organized on similar lines as the WSOP (World Series Of Poker). Anyone who can pay the "buy-in" for the World Poker Tour (an amount ranging from $2,500 to $25,000) or win a "satellite" tournament is able to compete against the top professional players. In January 2008, the WPT announced a set of tournaments for women, known as WPT Ladies. The first season will have five events, with buy-ins ranging from $300 to $1,500.

Being a “tour”; points are awarded for all open events. At the end of each season the points are calculated and a player of the year is decided. Points are given / awarded throughout the tour as follows:

· Winner - 1000 points

· Runner-up - 700 points

· 3rd place - 600 points

· 4th place - 500 points

· 5th place - 400 points

· 6th place - 300 points

· 7th place (TV bubble) - 200 points

Of recent times the World Poker Tour has been given further hype with the movie Deal (2008). A fictional WPT championship match is the setting for the 2008 film. Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten play themselves and a number of other poker professionals and poker-playing celebrities are in the cast.

Texas Hold’em Poker

Texas Holdem PokerTexas Hold’em poker is one of the most popular poker games in the world today. With the coming Christmas season many a families may have a fun time playing the game at home online with family members across the globe.  This variant of poker includes “community cards” where five cards drawn from the deck are used by all players along with their personal (hole) cards to form a desirable poker hand.

Texas Hold’em poker actually became popular in recent years, mostly due to the vast increase in popularity of poker itself, and widespread televising of poker tournaments. Texas is indeed the birthplace of this strategic game, and it began its rise to the popularity it enjoys today in 1967, when a group of four Texan gamblers made their way to Las Vegas and introduced the game there. For a long while, the game was only played at one of the less popular casinos, and hence the fad was slow to catch on. Interest in Texas Hold’em poker has grown steadily since the World Series of Poker made Texas Hold ‘em its main event in 1970.

Since then, Texas Hold’em (or just Holdem as it was originally called) has become the subject of a number of movies and online games. Online poker has opened the door to poker novices and low-stakes players, allowing them to play to win and in some cases, play in major tournaments. Thanks to players such as Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, the online poker industry tripled its revenues.

This fad is showing no signs of slowing down. A recent study in the University of Minnesota claims that over 87% of US college students gamble. With the online poker industry growing rapidly, bringing the game to people all over the world, and the casino industry spreading far and wide, Texas Hold’em poker is here to stay.

Poker Hands

Reading poker hands does not mean reading someone’s fortune or horoscope. It simply means you analyze and study your opponents move on the table. It’s a very important aspect to understand your opponent’s poker strategy and making sure that your opponent has not recognized it.  poker-hand

A “tell” is any physical reaction, kind of behavior, or habit that gives (or tells) the other players information about your hand. If you learn the most common tells, you can not only watch your own behavior to make sure your body language isn’t telling all your secrets, but also watch for the habits and tics in the poker players you’re at the table with. If you can accurately read your opponent’s tells, you’ll make the right decisions against them more often and win more money.

Everyone has their own unique tics and tells, and it’s great to watch individuals and pick up on their unique tells. Luckily, there are also a few involuntary and common tells that you can watch for even the first time you sit down with someone. As a general rule, remember that when a player acts strong, he’s probably weak, and when a player acts weak, he's probably got a really strong hand.

Some of the reactions are, when there’s a strong poker hand:

· Acting Uninterested in a Hand While Still in It

· Shaking Hands

· Rapid Breathing

· Sighing and Shrugging

· Glancing at Chips After Looking at Hole Cards

Some of the reactions are, when there’s a weak hand:

· Checking Hole Cards After a Flop

· Taking a Long Time Before Calling a Bet

A final note: more experienced players may give off false tells about their poker hands, so the first thing to read about other players is if they’re novices or pros.

Poker Game Play

Internet Poker is a family of poker card games that share betting rules and usually hand rankings. They differ in the qty of cards being dealt, hand formation, limits on bets and which poker hand wins the pot. Between rounds, the players' hands develop in some way, often by being dealt additional cards or replacing cards previously dealt. This forms the crux of any poker game play.
  poker-game-play
The right to deal a hand typically rotates in a clock wise direction and is marked by the dealer button (Buck). After the initial deal, the first of what may be several betting rounds begins. One or more players are usually required to make forced poker bets, usually either an ante or a blind bet (sometimes both).

The action then proceeds to the left. Each player in turn must either match the maximum previous bet or fold, losing all further interest in the hand. A player who matches a bet may also raise, increasing the bet. At any time during a betting round, if one poker player bets and no opponents choose to "call" (match) the bet and instead "fold", the hand ends immediately, the bettor is awarded the pot without a show of cards and the next hand begins.

At the end of the last betting round, if multiple players remain then there is a showdown, in which the players reveal their previously hidden cards. The player with the best hand according to the poker variant being played wins the pot. Generally speaking internet game play decides not just how one may win at a game of poker but also how one can increase your bankroll

Badugi

Badugi, Korean for “spotted dog”, is an increasingly popular game that is taking over online poker rooms and casinos world over. This Korean variant of draw poker, remains similar to the original game, with minor differences in rules.badugi poker

The game is an amalgamation of two types of poker, along with minor differences characteristic to Badugi itself. Learning how to play Badugi is also quite easy .Online Badugi is played using only the four “hole cards” dealt to the player. After an initial round of betting, the players’ objective is to attain the lowest hand value hand (similar to California Lowball), followed by three rounds of drawing, where the player can replace from zero to four of their cards by drawing from the deck (similar to three draw poker).

Cards in the same Badugi hand that are of the same value or belong to the same suit are discarded. Thus, the four-card hand becomes a three- or two- card hand. A player is said to have a “Badugi” when all four cards in their final hand are from different suits and have different ranks. The best hand in the game is A-2-3-4, all of different suits. The Badugi beats out all other three- or two-card hands.

Poker Bonus Codes

Poker bonus codes are commonly associated with joining online poker rooms and casinos. They are very beneficial to you when used in the appropriate manner and also when they have a great deal associated with them. Almost every time we go to download an online poker site we find an option when signing up to insert a bonus code. There is some advise that can be given to you about finding codes and using a code suited to you below. Before it is all explained it should be emphasised that a bonus code 9/10 times WILL NOT WORK if you do not take the appropriate measures prior to downloading the poker and casino software.poker-bonuses

It is always best to have a good look across affiliate sites and join the one offering the best benefits to you, the user prior to deciding on just any old poker bonus code. There are sites that will offer a lot more rakeback and higher bonuses then others. It is obviously best to seek out these sites. Some sites make playing poker almost 50% cheaper for you rake wise, others may offer a 100% signup bonus while some offer a lot less. Do your shopping.

After joining up with a respectable affiliate or rakeback site and obtaining the code, it is normally necessary to clear all cookies from your computer system. These cookies are used to track where you have been looking on the internet. If on downloading the software from your selected site (download from the site you join for your bonus code) you have not cleared your cookies you may find an issue. Your poker bonus code may not be recognized by the software and your bonus may not be applied. The poker software may pick up that you have visited another site instead. It is essential to remove them. Directions on how to remove cookies are normally given when downloading from your desired site.

After cookie removal its as easy as 1,2,3. Download, enter your details and the precise bonus code stipulated by the site. Ensure you do enter it precisely – if it is in CAPS enter in CAPS.

To find a decent poker bonus code there are a few steps you can take. Asking friends is always a good way, although friends may not have experience in checking out the latest deals. Typing in rakeback and affiliate sites into google always helps but you will be searching hundreds. My suggestion is to find a brilliant paying site and stick to it. One site in mind is www.funandpoker.com which has some of the best and leading deals in the industry. I have had a really good look around and have not found better across the board deals.
